The Bullpen opened last December within the Durham Bulls Athletic Park complex, and has quickly become a favorite Downtown gathering spot. The Bullpen serves up Bull Durham craft beer with award-winning Heavenly Buffalo wings while showcasing live blues music provided by Music Maker Relief Foundation every weekend. And Durham’s own poet/rapper “North Cack” G. Yamazawa was recently in the house giving a free show!
Shining a light on the music and plight of the original blues artists, The Bullpen gives back by donating $1.00 per pint sold to the Music Maker Relief Foundation. Founded in 1994, this non-profit organization strives to recognize and assist the pioneers of Southern music while sharing their soulful art and traditions with future generations. During the week, The Bullpen offers free-play pinball and pool on Mondays, Trivia Night on Wednesdays, and Paint Night on Thursdays. Your canine BFF is always welcome on the patio, especially on Sunday’s Dog Day Afternoon. What’s not to love at The Bullpen? Check it out at https://www.thebullpenatc.com.
