Page Page Office Manager (919) 237-3701 pagepage@urbandurham.com |
Page has lived in Durham since 1999. She graduated from the University of North Carolina where she majored in Business Administration and met her husband, Mike. They have two children, George and Shelby.
What did you do before real estate? I have been at home for the past 8 years with my children. Prior to my time at home, I spent most of my career in sales and marketing.
What do you do outside of work? Kid stuff, like watching baseball games, swim meets, viewing colorful art, etc. On my own time, I play golf, run and try to find time to knit and read. And lots of house projects!
What organizations get your time and money? Hope Valley Elementary, PTA Executive Board, Meals on Wheels (baked goods), Leukemia & Lymphoma Society-Team in Training.
How would you spend $100 in Durham? In spring and summer, I could easily spend my $100 at the Durham Farmer's Market buying fresh produce, flowers (my daughter is always begging for them!) and baked goods. Any other time, I would spend my $100 eating out at any one of the great restaurants we have such as Rue Cler, Q-Shack, Thai Cafe, Dos Perros, City Beverage, Magnolia Grill, etc.
Where was your most recent restaurant visit? Rue Cler - Spent a great night in downtown Durham on my anniversary with my husband. We went to the last American Tobacco Campus concert, had dinner at Rue Cler and spent the night at the Marriott at the Convention Center. The next morning we had breakfast at Beyu Caffe and stopped by the Durham Farmer's Market for fresh produce for the week!
What book are you currently reading? The Last Child by John Hart and The Help by Kathyrn Stockett. I alternate each night because they are both so great! Just finished Sarah’s Key by Tatiana de Rosnay, which was fantastic. All my reading materials come from a great friend who gives me only the best she has read!
